A childhood hobby of art directing photoshoots of my little sister with my film camera led to a lifelong love of photography and creating art.
After college in Ann Arbor and a career in sports & entertainment in Southern California, I was drawn back to my passion for photography in a meaningful way: telling compelling stories of couples in love in my signature style.
I'm a pop culture enthusiast, run on equal parts iced chai and green juice, live for concerts, can talk your ear off about Bravo shows and will hop on a plane any chance I get.
ALL
IT
STARTED WITH
HISTORY
If there was a fire and you could only grab one photograph from your home, which one would you take? The photograph on the right is mine... my grandparents on their wedding day, full of hopes and dreams about the life they would create together.

Many decades after this photo was taken, when my grandpa was sick in the hospital, my grandma would heat up a pot of homemade soup every single day and take it to him, where they would eat together and visit over lunch, just like they would if they were at their kitchen table back home. He loved her cooking and she loved cooking for him. I remember visiting her once when I was ten and not understanding why she had to go see him every day. I selfishly just wanted to go shopping or help her bake her famous cookies. Couldn't she just go see him tomorrow? Years later, the reason why she did that clicked for me and it has stuck with me as one of the purest examples of true love that I think about often. The one person she loved most in this life was sick and she needed to see him everyday... needed to know she was still taking care of him and in that moment he was still hers.

MY GRANDPARENTS.
DAY ONE. 1946.
Whenever I see this photo, I'm reminded of their history. Of the start of their legacy together. Of the fact that my grandpa told my grandma he was going to marry her on their first date and she laughed and called him crazy. I'm reminded of the love that they shared. Photographs tell so much more than the moment that they capture. They tell the story of someone's life.
